Co-Opted Governor - Strategy & Resources Committee

The University of Chichester is seeking to appoint a qualified accountant to join its Governors'' Strategy & Resources Committee as a co-opted member. The Strategy & Resources Committee meets at least three times a year and is responsible to the University Board for the effective assurance of the management and control of the financial affairs, assets and Human Resources of the University.
We are seeking to appoint an individual with a strong personal commitment to higher education. The mission of the University of Chichester is to be recognised as a beacon of good practice for high quality, student-centred higher education in a supportive community of learning. With a turnover of GBP 50m+ and campuses in Chichester and Bognor Regis, we offer programmes in teacher education, sport, the arts, humanities and social sciences. The University has also recently undertaken a major investment programme to create new STEM based facility and courses. The University''s new Tech Park was officially opened on 3 October 2018 by Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. We have a successful track record for widening participation from under-represented groups, good student retention and student satisfaction.
